The Technical Support Associate Student role supports the Information Technology Division by assisting in maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems, telecommunication services, and software applications utilized by the Municipality.

Qualifications
- Enrolled in College or University in an Information Technology related field.
- Highschool or post-secondary education required.
- Intermediate knowledge of computers and cellular phones.
- Basic understanding of information technology networks.
- Understanding and familiarity with Windows, iOS and Android operating systems
- Assist with responding to technical support requests and diagnose and troubleshoot problems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist with Installing and configure hardware and software.
- Setup and install desk phones and mobile devices.
- Setup, configure and roll-out computers per municipal standards and guidelines.
- Adhere to high standards of ethical behaviour and demonstrate their understanding that their personal actions impact the public’s perception of the Municipality.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, Information Technology or designate.
